only to discover it's almost completely empty. Evidently one of the contractors we've had working on our house over the past two years decided to walk off with a whole bunch of tools that were in this toolbox on a shelf in our garage. We have a suspicion who took them, but it was six months ago and we have no proof.
While I'm not going to Drupalcon, missing my second 'con in a row, I am hoping to attend some regional camps this year:
NYCCamp - @NYCCampDrupal - April 10th through 13th.- Didn't happen. or Western NY MiniCamp - April 26th. I'm not sure which NY camp I'll go to yet.- Won't happen. Drupalcamp Toronto @DrupalCampTO - May 2nd through 4th.- Won't happen.
- Design 4 Drupal - @D4DBoston - August 2nd & 3rd.
- New England Regional Developers (NERD) Summit - @NERDSummit - September 12th through 14th.
DrupalCamp Atlanta - @DrupalCampATL - date TBD, but probably in October.- DCATL has (effectively) been cancelled for 2014.
I'm not 100% positive of attending these, especially the one in Toronto (immigration, etc), but I really am hoping to.
In attending these camps I intend to give presentations on some of the tools on my Drupal utility belt (Panels/Panelizer, Metatag, etc), and learn from the many great & knowledgeable people in our extended community.
I hope to see some of you there, let me know if you're going so we can meet up!
I remember seeing this dairy-themed rock opera parody when it was first released in 2009 and features "White Gold" attempting to rescue his beloved from an evil megalomaniac with the help of the mythical Bovinia, all the while promoting milk's health benefits. It was originally created as part of a rather exuberant marketing campaign by the California dairy council and has a heavily pun-filled script that I found to be hilariously awful, if not quite awfully hilarious. Anyway, I can think of worse ways of spending 22 minutes.

Last night my wife made about 250 Italian wedding cookies as part of preparations for a bake sale fundraiser for a friend of the family who was severely injured this past New Year's in an accident on his farm. The jury's verdict is in and they're up to the standard of her previous batch. Later this week she is also going to do several batches of miscellaneous cookies, plus half a dozen batches of rice crispy treats, so hopefully they'll help raise lots for our friend & his family in their time of need.
